Automatic Power Factor Control (APFC) Panels
The power Factor generally lags where the load is inductive or uneven type. APFC or Automatic Power Factor Control Panels are mainly used for the improvement of Power Factor. For maintaining the power factor according to the load factor, proper capacity of capacitors is to be connected. The value of capacitors to be connected will vary with respect to load and its existing power factor. HPCS highly efficient APFC Panel with inbuilt independent fuses, has microcontroller based programmable controller which switches the capacitor banks of suitable capacity automatically in multiple stages by directly reading the reactive load thus maintaining the PF to 0.99 Lag. Exteriors are clearly provided with buttons and Indictors. Our APFC panels not only provide protection from excess power but also prevents leading power factor in low load conditions or even in presence of harmonics.
